The budget must be tied to both short-term and long-term planning. The budgetary approval process should be timely and allow for public review and comment prior to approval each year.

Good leadership requires transparency in decisions. This reduces uncertainty and requires accountability in town leadership and administration.
Invest in infrastructure upgrades to reduce natural disaster risk
It is critical to address aging infrastructure. The dam must be repaired in order to prevent catastrophic damage. All utilities and services including public works, EMS, Fire, and Police must have proper functional equipment.
