Born the son of a rural textile worker and dedicated housewife, Enoch Dickerson III was raised as a hard worker along with his 6 siblings. Educated in the Williamsburg County School system, Enoch excelled in the classroom. He knew the skills he learned while working with his family would ultimately be the skills he would sharpened at Trident Technical College majoring in welding and machinery. Following his passion, he also took courses in mechanical engineering and began his career at General Electric in 1971. Enoch later attended the National Judicial College of Nevada, South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy and recently graduated from the South Carolina Municipal Association in 2024.

Currently working with Charleston County and North Charleston sewer district to eliminate the use of septic tanks for residents. Obtained a $1.5 million grant from the SC Resolving Fund to replace water lines Community Growth & Development Partnered with Hunter Quinn Homes to construct 122 single and multi -family homes by 2025. Oversaw development of subdivisions and new housing, with three annexations into town limits in 2023. Hired a commercial building inspector and strengthened collaboration with regional developers. Services for Families & Children Secured $481,000 from the American Rescue Plan to support the renovation of Town Hall for expanded community use. Hosted Back-to-School events that have served more than 1,000 students and community members with school supplies, food, resources, and family activities. Improved playgrounds with new fencing, equipment, and a ribbon-cutting reopening ceremony. Beautification & Community Pride Launched the Town Beautification Project, which includes adding palm trees, removing junked areas, installing new town signs, and manicured landscaping throughout Lincolnville. Installed American flags and improved lighting at town entrances. Hosted the first Lincolnville Christmas Parade in 26 years and brought back the May Day Festival for the first time in decades, restoring beloved community traditions. Expanded community events including tree lightings, Easter Egg Hunts, and public safety fairs. Heritage & History Secured Lincolnville’s addition to the Reconstruction Era National Historic Network, opening opportunities for federal funding. Partnered with the Lincolnville Preservation & Historical Society on genealogy workshops, cultural lectures, and town heritage events. Community Support & Partnerships Partnered with the Community Resource Center to provide food, school supplies, hygiene products, and essential services. Worked with the South Carolina Low Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP) and local agencies to help families manage water bills.
