My Top Issues
Sustainable land use practices
We need to maintain what we have before starting new projects
Implementing sound financial management practices to maintain balanced budgets
Before we create project that will raise taxes, let us review all aspects to ensure fiscal responsibility.
Invest in local businesses
We need to work with owners of vacant buildings to fill empty spaces.
Social Services
I support retaining the library until a plan can be put in place to restore fully or some of the building so that it remains a part of Livonia. This will take considerable effort on the part of the community as whole, but I think it is worth attempting.
Criminal Justice / Public Safety
For a community to thrive, emergency services such as a police and fire, require full support and funing in order to best serve the resdients of Livonia. I am in full support of efforts to provide these deparmtents with what they need.
Taxes / Budget
Upcoming Millage - I do not support the millage as it is written. I believe in funding our emergency services, and I always will.
Taxes / Budget
In order for the topics listed above to come to fruition, it is my promise to alwasy approach any city spending with a fiscally responsbile mindset.
